About the ASUS ROG STRIX 1000W Gold Aura Edition Power Supply Unit
Aluminium Case
The ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition is encased in a strong, sleek aluminium chassis that also acts as a heatsink for the internal power transformer, further helping to reduce temperatures and minimise noise.
ROG Heatsinks
ROG heatsinks facilitate lower temperatures, longer component lifespan, and extended 0dB operation.
Axial-tech Fan
Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure. For ROG Strix Aura Edition PSUs, we’ve scaled that design to 135mm so it keeps things cool at low RPMs while producing less noise.
Dual Ball Fan Bearings
The fan impeller spins on a dual ball bearing setup that will last up to twice as long as a sleeve bearing design.
80 Plus Gold Certification
Top-end Japanese capacitors ensure efficient operation and have helped the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition PSUs earn an 80 PLUS Gold certification. The increased efficiency also results in less heat, reducing noise and increasing reliability.
0dB Technology
To reduce noise output, the PWM-controlled fan shuts off entirely when the PSU load is 60% or below.
Aura Sync
Addressable RGB lighting is built right in to the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition, so it’s all set to integrate with the Aura Sync illumination ecosystem – adding aesthetic style to raw power.
10-year Warranty
ASUS are so confident about the reliability of the ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition that it’s backed with a 10-year worldwide warranty.
